Training Overview

All skills are developed with practice; the more often you carry out a task, the more proficient you become. This involves learning from your mistakes – a process called experiential learning. However, while you might learn from your own mistakes, from an organizational point of view, it would be extremely useful if lessons learned on one project could be applied in other projects, without those teams having to solve the same problems.

This half-day, virtual, workshop will introduce the whole idea of knowledge and why it can be really difficult to capture and disseminate throughout the organization. We will explain why it is important to record lessons as they are being learned and not to leave this to a closing exercise at the end of the project. Finally, we will explain why lessons should be prioritized using Pareto analysis – to focus on ensuring the most important insights get distributed properly.
