This comprehensive two-day session will revisit content from the Authorized PMP® Exam Preparation course materials. Participants are kindly reminded to bring their materials, as provision of these materials and access to the CHOICE system will not be provided.

Nevertheless, participants will benefit from our advanced exam simulator designed for optimal exam preparation. In addition, our esteemed support will be available to assist you up until the day of the examination.

Course Agenda

The course is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the 35 key topics covered in the five core lessons of the PMP® curriculum. While familiar subjects will be addressed concisely, special attention and time will be dedicated to areas where attendees face challenges.

The session is led by expert instructors with years of experience in the field, who will guide participants through a thorough but high-level overview of the topics. The goal is to provide an understanding of how PMP® principles are implemented in real-world scenarios, so that attendees can apply their knowledge immediately upon completion of the course or to fast-track their prep for the PMP® Exam.

Eligibility Requirements

General Admission Requirements

To apply for this course, you need to be:

  • Proficient in both written and verbal English. In other words, if English is not your first language, you must have a minimum overall International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each band, or the equivalent Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score.
  • Reasonable numerate – i.e. understand basic arithmetic. Thus we require learners to have at least a Junior Certificate, or equivalent.
  • Computer literate. To access our learning management systems and virtual classroom-based courses, you need to be comfortable with basic information and communications technology. You are also expected to provide their own computer equipment to access our learning systems.

Candidates for the PMP® Exam must satisfy the PMI’s eligibility requirements.

These are:

  • 35 contact hours of formal training.  Candidates must have already attended a PMP® Exam Preparation course to satisfy this requirement.
  • Practical experience in project management.
  • If you have a bachelor’s degree, you need 3 years / 36 months experience built up over the last eight years.
  • If you do not have a bachelor’s degree, you need 5 years / 60 months experience built up over the last eight years.

However, if you do not meet the eligibility criteria, the course content will still be of benefit to practicing project managers. If your goal is to achieve a recognized accreditation, we can provide you with the necessary support to sit the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® exam, which is based on the same material. This two-day course will be based on the materials you received when you undertook your original Authorized PMP® Exam Preparation course. If you no longer have access to these materials, or the PMI learning management system, these will NOT be supplied as part of the PMP® refresher course.

However, you will have access to Velopi’s exam simulator to prepare for the exam, as well as our renowned support up to the exam itself.

 

The course is aimed at learners who have already attended a an Authorized PMP Exam Preparation course since January 2021.  It will provide a summary of the thirty-five topics that make up the five lessons of the PMP® curriculum. Topics that are very familiar to the class will be covered quickly, with more time spent on areas where people are having difficulties.

You should have attended an Authorized PMP® Exam Preparation course since January 2021.
